CAROLINA ESCALLÓN PARDO

Barack Obama

Barack Obama is on track to become the first African-American major party nominee for president of the United States. Today, the polls show that US is ready for a black president. The majority of people think that Barack Obama is the better option for the country

The top six concerns for both whites and blacks in making their presidential choice this year are exactly the same in the following order; the economy, Iraq, terrorism, health care, gas prices and Iran. All of these concerns are the things that Barack Obama wants change. Another positive aspect is that Barack win more popularity around the world, especially in Latin America.

But the negative aspect is that Baract Obama wants to benefit the middle class by raising taxes on small businesses. This is not very appropriate because small businesses are those that generate wealth and employment, for this reason he shouldn’t affect this sector of the economy

In conclusion Barack Obama is the president who has the profile to meet the expectations of Americans. And according to surveys is the actually favorite for the American society for the nomination presidential.
